Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and activist for animal rights. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most acclaimed films. The desire to become an artist was in part influenced by her family background within an New York family of artists. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in, she was recognized as a winner of an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, she became the top female box-office star across the globe. In 1972, her foot-prints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on include The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
