Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and a writer. She is most well known as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. In 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The same year, she released her first musical album, This is Tina Time. Her debut appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, a 1958 drama. The film received widespread acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she's also earned a name for herself as a successful director in various well-known television shows including Supernatural or The 100. The family she was born into moved from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for her childhood and teenage years. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there from then on.
