born Kellie Dawn Pickler on June 28 1986 Pickler experienced a turbulent childhood. For the sake of leaving an abusive partner, Pickler's mother resigned when she was just 2 years older. Pickler returned to the mother she had left in 1995, when she assumed custody. It did not work out as planned. At the age of 12, the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents who raised her to adulthood. Pickler was unable to parent her children when they were absent. She admitted that she didn't find time to attend school and began learning to become a housewife at an early stage. Pickler participated in the cheerleading squads of both her middle and high school. North Stanly High School, where she graduated in 2004, was her alma mater. Pickler had a go in the world of beauty contests. She once held the title as Miss Stanly county.
