Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid's mom is Chinese and was raised in Vietnam. Winston Barrett Munn hails from the American South. Olivia was only two when her parents divorced. She was raised by her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was an United States Air Force member. While the family left Oklahoma and resided in many places, she was raised at Tokyo, Japan. At the time, she was a part of several theater productions. Later she became an Japanese model. Olivia left the United States back to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of being an actor. Olivia's career began to take off following a few minor role. Olivia was cast in the role of Mily in the series with a Hawaii lens Beyond the Break (2005) and also the receptionist part for Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). She is the host of "The Daily Nut", "Formula D" as well as "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. The passion she has for surfing is something she's continued since the 2006 TV show Beyond the Break. Also, she has an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. When she was two, her mother remarried. The second time, she got married to a US Air Force serviceman. Although the family moved around a often, the mother of her child was raised in Tokyo where she lived within the military. She studied journalism in the University of Oklahoma and also majored in Japanese, dramatic arts and acting.
