Kelly Michelle Stables was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia gave her a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Communication and Theatre. Upon moving from Missouri to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theatre arts, acting and choreographing for more than two dozen plays and musical productions such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title roles in Los Angeles' award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing films and TV roles when she learned improvisation, and later became a Theatre West company member. She has worked with Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as evil Samara However, she's better known as the radiant and bubbly receptionist from Two and a Half Men. From 2011 to 2015 Kelly was a paralegal during the day and a party night hopper as a Series regular for the TV Land show The Exes. Additionally, she was the main Regular in ABC Romantically Challenged where she as the flirty, sassy sister that is Alyssa Miano. The show also featured her as the suburban mother who is anxious on CW No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been lent by her singing voice to various shows, including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recent roles include the charming and dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's Superstore. Her private life is quiet. She is a lover of having time with her family members, which includes two young children.
